AAACN Bylaws Amendment Passes

A bylaws amendment to change the membership and fiscal years to a calendar year (January-December) passed with 369 yes votes and 40 no votes. As a result of this change, the greatest proportion of AAACN's revenues will be realized at the beginning of the fiscal year. This provides the board and staff with a good indication of how the organization is doing financially within the first 6 months of the year, so adjustments can be made to remain in the black for the year-end.

It also aligns the membership year with the fiscal year. Thanks to all members who took the time to return their vote.
