In Memoriam: Lewis W. Ballard, Jr.
Phi Kappa Phi Forum, Fall 2007
Lewis W. Ballard, Jr., PE (University of Southern California), passed away on August 1, 2007, at age ninety-one. During his long career as a mechanical engineer, Ballard worked for U.S. Steel, retiring from mere in 1972, then at Robert W Hunt Company until 1980. In addition, he served in the U.S. Navy from January 1945 to May 1946; he was stationed in Okinawa.
