Cleaning Show "record visitor numbers"
HD, Feb 2005
The organisers of the Cleaning Show 2005, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 1-3 March, have announced "record visitor registrations."
The British Cleaning Council and Quartz Publishing and Exhibitions said there have were 5,198 registrations at the time of writing, which is over 1,000 more people than were registered three weeks before the 2003 show. The organisers expect the figure to double in the weeks leading up to the event, based on experience from past Cleaning Shows. The average visitor (based on 2003 figures) spends over £300,000 on cleaning equipment and supplies, said the organisers.
Event director Martin Scott said, "We have been overwhelmed with an astounding number of new international visitors." This year there will be an expanded exhibition floor and an extended seminar programme featuring expert speakers. (see p23).
