International Fire Expo 2005
HD, Feb 2005
The International Fire Expo, also being held at the NEC, features an array of companies and useful 'demos'.
ORGANISERS SAY THE INTERNATIONAL Fire Safety Expo, being held from 19-22 May, has progressively grown over the last three years and can already boast a strong range of exhibitors.
Making a re-appearance at the event after what was reported to be a popular and successful feature last year, is the Emergency Action Zone, featuring a series of live demonstrations outside the NEC halls. Ranging from road traffic incidents to fire rescue and extinguishing practices the demonstrations aim to draw in the crowds again.
Also returning after a successful debut claimed by organisers last year, is the Fire Fighting Vehicle Manufacturers Association (FFVMA) Pavillon. Visitors also have the opportunity to see fire-fighting vehicles in action and to take part in the "Ride and Drive" vehicle road tests.
Attendees will also have access to an information programme of sessions in the seminar theatre where exhibiting companies are invited to deliver presentations in their area of expertise.
Visitors can register to receive regular event updates at www.fireexpo.co.uk. For further ino telephone 020 7921 8063 or email gdunphy@cminformation.com
