First Lamp Lighting

The First Lamp Lighting ceremony of Apollo College of Nursing Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad was celebrated on 21st April 2003. Dr. Pratap C. Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Hospital was the chief guest and Mr. P. Krishna Murthy, and Mr. Surender Reddy, were the guests of honour. Ms. Nelsu Babu first year B.Sc. Nursing student led the ceremony with a prayer song, and Ms Onila Salins, Principal Apollo College of Nursing welcomed the august gathering.

The traditional lamp was lit by Mr. Krishna Murthy, Dr. Pratap C. Reddy, Mr. Surender Reddy, Ms Onila Salins and Ms Panthoi, student. Nursing pledge was administered by Ms. Babji Attluri, Principal Apollo school of Nursing.

Mr. Krishna Murthy in his address said that as Nurses are key to health care delivery system it is imperative on their part to keep themselves abreast with the latest technological advancement.
