AUTHORBIOGRAPHIES

Dr. Eric W. T. Ngai is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His current research interests are in the areas of electronic commerce, decision support systems and supply chain management. He has published in a number of journals including IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, Transportation Research and others. He serves on the Editorial Board of more than five international Journals. Dr Ngai has received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Performance/Achievement in Teaching (2003-2004).

Angappa (Guna) Gunasekaran is a Professor of Management in the Charlton College of Business at the University of Massachusetts (North Dartmouth, USA). Previously, he has held academic positions in Canada, India, Finland, Australia and Great Britain. He has BE and ME from the University of Madras and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology. He teaches and conducts research in operations management and information systems. He serves on the Editorial Board of 20 journals and edits journals. He has published about 170 articles in journals, 60 articles in conference proceedings and 2 edited books. In addition, he has organized several conferences in the emerging areas of operations management and information systems. He has extensive editorial experience that includes the guest editor of many high profile journals. He has received outstanding paper and excellence in teaching awards. His current areas of research include supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, e-commerce, and benchmarking.

Albert L. Harris is a Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems at the Walker College of Business, Appalachian State University and Editor of the Journal of Information Systems Education. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Certified Computer Professional (CCP). He received his Ph.D. in MIS from Georgia State University, his M.S. in Systems Management from the George Washington University, and his B.S. in Quantitative Business Analysis from Indiana University. Dr. Harris is a member of the Board of Directors for the Education Special Interest Group (EDSIG) of AITP and served for three years as Treasurer of EDSIG. He has also served as secretary for the Southeast Chapter of the Decision Sciences Institute. He has published in the Journal of Management Consulting, Information & Management, International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction, Knowledge Management Research and Practice, Journal of Information Systems Education, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Review of Business Information Systems, International Journal of Management, International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology, Issues in Higher Education, Journal of Computer and Mathematics Education, Computerworld, and numerous international, national, and regional conference proceedings. Prior to becoming an educator and researcher, he spent almost 15 years in IT consulting, the last five managing his own consulting firm.
