MFPT Meeting
The 62nd Meeting of the Society for Machinery Failure Prevention Technology (MFPT) will be held May 6-8, in Virginia Beach, VA, at the Sheraton Oceanfront hotel. The conference theme, "Failure Prevention for System Availability" was selected to address how the now universal metric of "availability" can be maximized and the role that health management (HM) technologies play in this regard. A half-day plenary session will include keynotes from Bob Nelms, founder of Failsafe Network Inc, Stephen Grimes, vice president of Enterprise Resource Planning for Technology in Medicine Inc., and Jorg Reitmann, vice president and executive expert, Complete Cabin Systems, and head of operations and integration at Airbus in Germany. The remainder of the conference will comprise 11 technical sessions, a "New Products and Services" session from the exhibitors, and eight half-day tutorials.
The latest detailed program is available at: www.mfpt.org. To receive free information from any of the MFPT exhibitors listed below, please use S&V's web-based reader service, www.SandVinfo.com. or the readerservice card in this issue.
