Latest Technology Will Be Displayed at the National Technical Training Symposium of the Vibration Institute
The Vibration Institute's 2008 National Technical Training Symposium and 32nd Annual Meeting will take place June 23-26 at the Woodland Hotel & Suites, Williamsburg, VA. The symposium will feature two one-day short courses and technical sessions on bearing/gear analysis, machine diagnostics, modal analysis, rotor dynamics, pump vibration, monitoring applications, pulsation analysis, piping analysis, wireless technology, flow- induced vibrations, field balancing and predictive maintenance.
Contact the Vibration Institute for additional information, registration and to purchase the proceedings: Vibration Institute, 6262 South Kingery Highway, Suite 212, Willowbrook, IL 60527; 630. 654.2254; 630.654.2271; www.vibinst. org.
There will be an exhibition of products and services for conducting condition-based maintenance using vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis and ultrasound. To request FREE information from any of the selected exhibitors listed below, please use S&V's web-based reader service www. SandVinfo.com or the reader service card in this issue. Your request will be forwarded to the exhibitors.
Alta Solutions will show compact and portable NVH systems that perform realtime data acquisition and analysis for up to 40 channels (24-bit, simultaneously sampled) and 8 tachometers. Perfect for product development (modal testing, transient /waterfall /orbit analysis, high-speed digital data recording), product testing (audit, end-of-line testing), and field measurements (in-vehicle analysis, monitoring, and alarming).
