International Journal of Micrographics & Optical Technology, 2003

M-Audio is a leading provider of creative tools for electronic musicians and audio professionals, with offices in the U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, France and Japan.

M-Audio has selected work2gether to store and centralize documents and improve file sharing. The collaborative document management system will provide the marketing and graphics department with improved document sharing capabilities and the engineering department with version control for white papers and product specification documents.

"Work2gether is a great solution that addresses M-Audio's marketing and engineering document lifecycle needs." said Luc Lacroix, CEO and co-founder of KMtechnologies. "The two departments will be able to reduce costs by providing a collaborative platform for storing and organizing documents in a central repository, and provide easy access to other users in the U.S., Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany and Canada."

Work2gether is a web-based collaboration and document management system that provides organizations with the ability to publish and manage documents, forms and tasks. Based on XML technology, work2gether is said to be easy to install and maintain, and requires a Windows NT/2000/XP server and an Internet connection.

"Our marketing and engineering teams needed to organize, access and share documents in a logical, structured system that is easy to use." said Craig Peterson, IT Manager, M-Audio. "Work2gether helps us to achieve our document sharing needs. We can easily store and retrieve documents, share files from a logical directory structure, ensure version control and improve document search capabilities."
