National Dragster, Jan 30, 2004
In addition to becoming part of an exciting community of racers and race fans, NHRA members are entitled to many valuable benefits, explained each week in Membership Midway. Members should refer to this page often for news and updates that will help them receive the greatest possible value from their membership throughout the year. In most cases, members must present their valid NHRA membership card to receive benefits. To join, see the ad on page 68.
Charge it!
NHRA Membership Services accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for new memberships, renewals, and other purchases. However, at national events, only Visa and MasterCard are accepted for membership sales. Checks are not accepted at events.
Members save 10 percent on classified ads
NHRA members receive a 10 percent discount on classified advertisements placed in National DRAGSTER'S popular DragMart section. To advertise, call Monique Farrugia, (626) 250-2304. Have your NHRA member number ready.
Free automatic renewal eliminates fuss
New and renewing NHRA members who pay by credit card can choose to renew their memberships automatically each year using NHRA's free automatic-renewal service. Members who take advantage of automatic renewal eliminate the hassle of writing checks, mailing back notices, and wondering if they've done it in time. Automatic-renewal customers never have to worry about missing any issues of National DRAGSTER or missing out on their many other membership benefits. To sign up, call NHRA Membership Services toll-free, (800) 308-NHRA.
Excess medical coverage an important member benefit
Only NHRA members are covered for $485,000 from NHRA's excess catastrophic medical policy if they sustain accidental bodily injury during a covered racing program at an NHRA member track. Coverage applies not only to racers but also to spectators and workers as long as their NHRA membership is current. (Coverage is, at all times, limited to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the master policy.)
See NHRA'S museum for free
NHRA members receive free admission to The Wally Parks NHRA Motorspprts Museum at Fairplex in Pomona. Show your card to enter.
