"Connie has as much, if not more, experience than anyone out there burning nitro, and as much as some people might not believe it, he takes a very common-sense approach to setting up race cars. Some other teams sometimes shake their heads at what we do, but maybe they are afraid to try something different. Connie's willingness to change is one of the reasons why he' has been so successful at everything he has ever been involved in. For me, having Connie around would be like being a young golfer and having Jack Nicklaus or Arnold Palmer around every day to teach me how to hit a golf ball. It would be crazy not to listen."
