Driven2Win.net Adds Kubo To All-female Sport Compact Team

NHRA Summit Sport Compact Drag Racing Series star Lisa Kubo will wheel a Pro RWD Chevy Cobalt in 2005 for the Driven2Win.net team owned by Maria Hoyos, wife of two-time NHRA Pro FWD champion Nelson Hoyos. Driven2Win.net Inc. is a Florida-based sport compact drag racing school and specialty parts manufacturer and retailer. Kubo, who was recently released from the Saturn Motorsports Pro FWD team, joins Nelson Hoyos as one of the company's highly skilled featured instructors.

The Driven2Win team will be the first all-female Professional drag racing team in NHRA sport compact history and will be marketed by an all-female firm. Nelson Hoyos will serve as technical consultant. Kubo's new ride will be one of the company's six-second, 200-plus-mph, Jerry Bickel-built Cobalt race cars.
