Auctions has announced that it will sponsor two classic fuel altereds in commemoration of its 50th anniversary in the auto-auction business. The Rat Trap and Nanook fuel altereds will carry the Manheim banner for the balance of the 2005 season. Both of these cars have long and distinguished histories in drag racing and have been featured at such events as the 50th Anniversary Nationals in Pomona, Goodwood Festival of Speed, and Mac Tools U.S. Nationals. The cars have been thrilling fans across the country since the 1960s. Manheim Auctions Senior Vice President-Sales Nick Peluso joined racers Ron Hope and Dave Hough to make the announcement.
