Those of you who didn't attend the 2003 Diva & Don Gala missed a great night! Once again we had a terrific time celebrating the movers and shakers in nursing in New Jersey.

And while we're talking about moving things and shaking things up, did you know that...the Institute has given 28 scholarships this year as well as a research grant? Did you know that by the end of this year hundreds of nurses will have attended education programs sponsored by the Institute? AND thousands more will receive their contact hours through the Institute's Approver and Provider Units! Did you know that you can earn unlimited contact hours in a year by making a donation to the Institute for Nursing through our CE Direct program? In addition, NJ Nurse publishes interesting research articles on current issues in the Research Corner.

We're riot resting-it's on to the next events: We will be having a silent auction and research luncheon at convention in April, and we will be honoring community volunteers at our EPIC Awards luncheon in May. Please come out and join us- just by attending, you help the Institute continue its work. If you can't attend, consider sending a donation.

All of our fundraising efforts have been highly successful, and we are steadily increasing the benefits to New Jersey's current and future nurses. Kudos to the staff, volunteers and supporters who make all of this happen. We are a lean, mean educating machine.
