REGION NEWS

New Jersey Nurse, Jan/Feb 2004

Our Region participated in The Evening of Giving which was held at the Ocean County Mall in Toms River on Nov. 23rd, and was sponsored by Simon Malls. The event, a kick-off for the holiday season, featured a funfilled evening with mega sales, including entertainment. The event was a great success for the mall, and Region 6 earned $1400! Many thanks to our own Linda Gural for coordinating this event for Region 6, and to Region 6 Board members, and members who volunteered their time at The Evening of Giving. Not only was this an opportunity to raise funds, but those of us who volunteered were able to talk to our community about nursing and NJSNA.
