J. Roger Asplin, MGMA president in 1978, dies

J. Roger Asplin, president of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) in 1978, died June 9, 2005, in Minnetonka, Minn. He was 88. An MGMA member for 45 years, Asplin served on several Association committees. During his year as president MGMA installed its first computer. Asplin's quiet leadership was instrumental in building the organization we have today.
