Statement: It is an honor to have my name placed on the KNA Ballot for the office of President-Elect. I have been an active member of KNA for over 35 years having served as district president and treasurer and on state committees and cabinets. In addition, I have served in leadership roles of several nursing and community organizations. If elected. I pledge to support the mission of the organization, foster open communication among all nurses, and advocate for the advancement of the profession of nursing in the Commonwealth.

Statement: I have been active in KNA for many years and have a background perspective to help the diverse group of nurses on both the ANA House of Delegates and the KNA Governmental Affairs Cabinet. I enjoy monitoring and learning new ANA Delegates from KNA and I often work with several delegates from other small CMAs to be sure our voices are heard. I am a "political junky" and follow the legislature closely, often calling my representatives and attending committee meetings in Frankfort, and would be an active participant on the Cabinet.
