Hypnotically-facilitated intervention of epileptic seizures: A case study

American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis,  Apr 2005

Young, G. (2004). Hypnotically-facilitated intervention of epileptic seizures: A case study. Australian Journal of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Hypnosis, 25(1), 1-11. This case study is an account of a hypnotically-facilitated psychotherapeutic intervention with epilepsy. This article briefly contextualises both the condition known as epilepsy in the medical literature and in the client's history.

It also outlines the rationale and methodology employed by the author in assisting the client to overcome the presenting problem. A combination of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), basic counseling and Ericksonian Hypnosis was used to facilitate the outcome.
