(Runge Publishing)

Print Action, Feb 2003

RUNGE PUBLISHING, based in Renfrew, Ontario, has installed the UV-Setter 57 from basysPrint. The 25-year-old company also chose to integrate the basysPrint Navigator RIP from Xitron, for use with the computer-to-conventional-plate system. Runge Publishing currently prints 11 community newspapers, which it owns, as well as other similar newspapers around the Ottawa region. The newspapers include the twice-weekly Arnprior Chronicle, a guide newspaper, and Renfrew Mercury. "The installation was very smooth and we were producing plates for our presses within five days of the initial install," said owner Fred Runge (above, on right with Dave Debenham).
