Print Action, Feb 2003
America's second largest weekly magazine, USA WEEKEND, has chosen to extend its relationship with Quebecor World, North American's largest printer of Sunday magazines. The two signed a multi-year contract extension that has Quebecor printing three-quarters of the 23.7 million copies USA WEEKEND distributes each week in almost 600 newspapers.
Reaching more than 49 million readers each issue, the magazine will continue to be printed at Quebecor World plants in Atglen, Pennsylvania; Dickson, Tennessee; and Mt. Morris, Illinois. "We are proud to continue our relationship with USA WEEKEND. This success, combined with our other recent contract wins shows our goal of providing a coast-to-coast retail and Sunday Magazine platform is the right strategy for our customers and our shareholders," said Dave Boles, Co-COO of Quebecor World North America.
