Developed in collaboration with machine manufacturers, M-real's silver digital range of premium quality papers has been designed to ensure outstanding results on both HP Indigo presses and Xeikon driven machines. The sheet-fed products have been certified for use on all HP Indigo presses through R.I.T. Printing Applications Laboratory, while the reel-fed papers have been certified to A1 grade for the Xeikon driven machines. The HP Indigo press optimized sheets provide enhanced paper formation for runability. The substrates also feature optimized ElectroInk adhesion for ink transfer from blanket to substrate, while absolute ElectroInk adhesion occurs in less than 15 minutes, allowing almost immediate finishing. Additionally, matte and gloss qualities now have improved whiteness (CIE 125). The reel-fed products have an operating window that is easier to set than previous papers. According to M-real, silver digital papers ensure consistently sharp images and text, with brilliant colours that are true to the original. The silver digital range includes supra, gloss and matte in sheets and reels, while pure and supergloss are available only in reels.
