MICHEL DESBIENS leaves his position as CEO and president of the world's largest commercial printing company, after six weeks. Desbiens took on the position after Charles Cavell announced his retirement, which instead saw him shift to being the deputy chairman of Quebecor World's board of directors. Desbiens will now be replaced - temporarily - by Jean Neveu, who served as the company's president and CEO from 1989 to 1997. Quebecor also announced a significant weakening in its earings for the first quarter of 2003.
