MATCHPRINT has been awarded certification by the Specifications for Web Offset Publications (SWOP). The Kodak Polychrome Graphics's virtual proofing system uses a RGB monitor to view CMYK colour reproduction that predicts final printed colour in the web-offset environment. Matchprint uses an instrumented colour calibration process to provide consistent colour from day to day, monitor to monitor and location to location.

The process employs an automated, numerical colour science-based measurement process, rather than a visual process.
