SCHAWK INC., one of the world's largest providers of digital brand image management, celebrates its 50-year anniversary this month. Shortly after returning from WWII, founder Clarence W. Schawk was refused a job at R.R. Donnelley and then, after working at Alden Press, used money he and his wife Marilyn received as wedding gifts to establish Schawk Litho Plate in 1953.

Fifty years later, the company has grown into a multinational operating from 28 locations around the world including Toronto and Montreal.
