After pulling the plug on Shift in March of this year, St. Joseph Media agreed to keep the internet-culture magazine's website alive. Last month, Shift.com was recognized as one of the best sites online with a 2003 Webby nomination from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which is made up of technology industry insiders.

But technology companies didn't afford the print edition the same recognition as Shift magazine's demise has been blamed on a lack of ad dollars. Check out some other Webby nominations and discover some of the best the Net has to offer as a delivery channel.
