(Imation)

Print Action, Sep 2003

IMATION sponsored a survey of 200 small businesses to find out if they are open to data disasters. Thirty-nine per cent admit to only reviewing storage procedures after a problem occurs. Thirty-four percent say that they are doing a "fair" or "poor" job of removing important business data offsite, or are not removing backup files at all.

Thirty per cent have no formal data backup and storage procedures.
