>SAVVIS COMMUNICATIONS, a provider of network services to businesses, has purchased the commercial business of WAM!NET. The purchase price is US$3 million, immediately, plus an amount to be determined in April 2004 based on the value of WAM!NET's annualized revenues at that time. WAM!NET, which provides content management and delivery, generated revenues of around US$30 million last year, suggesting the final purchase price may be around US$16 million.
