I recently found a website that emails you the latest product recalls and safety notices concerning a number of topics and articles. Each notice or recall is specific and provides a link to the webpage concerning the item. Notices are sent daily only to subscribers. Please check out http://www.safetyalerts.com.

Another great website is Fastweb.com. This website provides almost 3,000 nursing scholarships as well as other scholarships.

The VFW sponsors an annual nationwide speech and essay contest. Winners receive savings bonds and college scholarships. It is open to students in grades 7 - 12. To learn more, go to www.vfw.org. or call the VFW at 1-800-479-5228.

The "Greenbucks" Program works for you. Many of our members are not aware of the rewards for recruiting new members. Greenbucks can be used to help pay for ASNA workshops (including convention and FACES) or at the sales table. Here's how it works:

Recruit one Full Pay Member - receive a $10 greenbuck

Recruit two Half Pay Members - receive a $10 greenbuck

Recruit four Special or Reduced Pay Members - receive $10 greenbuck.
