Shattered by Debra Puglisi Sharp with Marjorie Preston Atria Books, New York, NY

From the very, beginning, you don't want put this story down; and you don't want to keep reading! On a beautiful April day in 1998 Debra Puglisi planted roses, spoke to her husband for the last time, and entered into the world of the truly evil. It is the true story of a family torn apart by murder, kidnap and rape; a story of survival and what comes afterwards. Mrs. Puglisi Sharp is a Hospice Nurse and an advocate for victims of violence and trauma. She travels the country telling her story to "salve the wounds" and let others know there is life after tragedy. An excellent book, not for the weak of heart.
