Nurses for a Healthier Tomorrow Campaign Launched

Alabama Nurse,  Sep-Nov 2003

Organizations, including ANA, have approved a new campaign focused on nursing faculty recruitment. This campaign will address the nation's need for more nursing faculty and will promote nursing education as an exciting and rewarding profession. The theme for the campaign will be "Nursing Education...pass it on." the concept builds upon the existing Nurses for a Healthier Tomorrow (NHT) tagline ("Nursing.

It's Real. It's Life.") The new campaign line encapsulates the essence of nursing education, clearly stating that through teaching, nurse educators are "passing on" the nursing education they've been taught as well as practical experience they have gained in clinical work. In addition to the print ads, posters and web content will be developed to support the campaign. Nursing associates will be asked to donate space in their publications to run ads when they are available. For more information about NHT, go to http://www.nursesource.org/.
