Montessori Life, Winter 2004

I recently reread the article written by Dr. Betsy Coe titled "Creating Optimal Environments for Adolescents" (ML Summer 2003). Our school is in a growing period and we are finding, as many Montessori schools do, that our parents have an increased interest in Montessori for the middle school years. The article was helpful for this reason. The Adolescent Development chart was extremely informative, as well as a great reminder. 1 would love to see another chart, as detailed and thorough as Betsy's Adolescent Development chart, for the 3-6, 6-9, & 9-12 years. This very thorough and clear format is easy to use when talking with parents and teachers. Do you know of a chart like this that someone has completed? I believe this could be the basis of a great article.
