In the first three years of life, the essential foundations are laid that start a child on the road to becoming the kind of adult who can intuitively predict the consequences of various physical phenomena, who finds that basic scientific concepts make sense; a confident abstract thinker who can tinker with machines and figure out how they work-a person with a strong inner sense of science.
