With the skyrocketing medical malpractice premiums again this year (the Insurance Companies have asked for another 23%) along with doctors closing their offices or leaving town, it's time for our medical community to come together.

We have a real HEALTH CARE CRISIS in Nevada. As a health care professional I'm the one you want in Carson City working to solve this problem. It does not matter if it's long term care, prescription drugs, under insured, uninsured, your ability to find and keep a medical provider, medical malpractice (Tort Reform), or the nursing shortage. With my critical care experience I am the best candidate to impact health care reform.

I am Bill Dolan a Registered Nurse and a candidate for Nevada State Assembly District One. I feel it is important for nurses to come together and elect more medical professionals into the political system at all levels of government. Without more medical professionals elected into office true Health Care Reform will take longer then it should, and that my friends is a shame. We as nurses are a large and strong force in Nevada and we need {o use that strength to protect our families and ourselves. If we do not help ourselves, who is going to?
