Women's Basketball, Oct 2004

The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame located in Knoxville, Tenn. inducted six new members this summer.

Inductees included:

Sylvia Hatchell: University of North Carolina coach; 654 wins

Lurlyne Greer Rogers: 8-time AAU All-American

Amy Ruley: North Dakota State coach; 605 wins; 5 NCAA D-II titles

Bev Smith: Three-time Canadian Olympian; Oregon head coach

William L. Wall: First executive director of USA Basketball

Marian E. Washington: 560 career wins at the University of Kansas.
