Dear Puck,

Do you always wear red shoes? And what animal are you? I have no clue how you live with no hands. Why are you always with Sisyphus?

From

Matthew, California

Dear Matthew,

I only have one pair of shoes, and they are red. They don't make many different styles or colors for oysters like me. I don't mind not having hands because Sis is always there to pick things up for me, or pick up after me which is why he's my best friend.

Puck

Dear Plush,

I like you a lot, just like all the other characters in Ask Magazines! (I don't know about Marvin though.) Make sure Marvin doesn't try to play any more pranks on you anymore! Ask Ratsputin why he likes leftovers SO much. Ask Whatson what type of books he likes most. And also please ask Marvin if he is working on or coming up with any new inventions!

Your friend,

Pierce R.L., age 7, Texas

Dear Pierce,

Rats says food doesn'f even begin to taste good until it's been in the back of the refrigerator for at least a week . . . « shudder »! Whatson's favorite book is: all of them! As for Marvin... most of his "inventions" are just thinly disguised pranks-and I fry fo stay away from them!

Plush

Dear Ask,

I was wondering if you could make an issue about endangered animals, or computers. And please ask Whatson if he has read Dragon Rider or Inkheart. I just finished Inkheart, and I am reading its sequel, Inkspell.

From

Kimberly

Dear Kimberly,

Computers are endlessly fascinating and at times vexingly unreliable little machines, and I'm sure we could fill an entire issue or two of Ask with information on them. I will research the subject-and hope the computer doesn't crash.

Bot

P.S. Endangered species? You'll have to ask Plush Pottom since she's the authority on that subject.
