New VoIP/PoE/Gigabit Link Tester Launched

Enterprise Networks & Servers, Oct 2004

Psiber Data Systems has introduced the new LanMaster 26 Link Tester with Voice over IP (VoIP), Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Gigabit on copper test capability.

The LanMaster 26 test device can identify VoIP ports and verify that the required voltage is being supplied.

The unit will also turn on a powered Ethernet port and indicate if the voltage is normal or low.

The LanMaster 26 features full 10/100/lOOOBaseTX link signal detection and decoding.

The LanMaster 26 provides advanced VolP/PoE/Gigabit test technology with one button operation and an easy to understand LED interface to diagnose common connectivity problems. The unit quickly tells the user if an outlet is powered or connected to a standard network device. It determines the speed and duplex mode of the Link partner and verifies connectivity in both directions.

The LanMaster 26 also features a Port ID capability that blinks the Link light on the connected hub/switch port or NIC.

The pocket size LanMaster 26 is field rugged and comes with 9 volt battery, RJ-45 coupler and a flexible cable assembly for easy connection. An accessory pack is also available and sold separately.
