Enterprise Networks & Servers, Jan 2005
Solsoft, a provider of network security policy management solutions, and CipherOptics, an innovator of gigabit-speed IPSec appliances, have announced that CipherOptics will develop device drivers for Solsoft's Policy Server in order to automate and simplify the management of CipherOptics' IPSec appliances.
CipherOptics will use the Solsoft Device SDK to build a driver for Solsoft's scalable management solution. In addition to its firewall management capabilities, Solsoft Policy Server enables IT organizations to design, deploy and audit both hub-and-spoke and complex fully meshed VPN environments spanning hundreds of devices in a multi-vendor enterprise network. All of this can be done via dragand-drop actions.
