UGA selects Foundry for campus-net

The University of Georgia (UGA) selected Foundry Networks for a campuswide upgrade and as their preferred networking partner. UGA will deploy Foundry's scalable Layer 2/3 core and edge switches to provide connectivity to the school's 45,000 students, faculty, and staff.

UGA is upgrading its networking infrastructure to keep pace with the complex demands and requirements of research and teaching applications and to deploy a reliable, scalable, secure and high-bandwidth technology with assured performance levels.
