Cisco wireless game tests net knowledge, skills

Enterprise Networks & Servers, Sep 2005

Cisco Systems has released Wireless Explorer, a new educational game designed to test networking knowledge and wireless skills for technical professionals. The Wireless Explorer game is available to anyone with a Cisco.com login via the CCNA Prep Center (www.cisco.com/go/ prepcenter).

Players compete by ensuring friendly space aliens remain in wireless communication throughout their galactic voyages. Individual and team scores are based on successful site survey strategies, deployment skills and network maintenance.

The Wireless Explorer game is one of six games now available on the CCNA Prep Center for users to sharpen network skills and match talents with other networking professionals. To access the CCNA Prep Center see cisco.com/go/prepcenter.
