Computrace Software
Computrace software offers an efficient way to manage a school's computer assets, especially mobile computers. The software provides detailed reports for every computer with an Internet connection. With Computrace software in place, every computer with an Internet connection communicates regularly to report system information, location and user identity. Machines can be tracked as they change hands or move around within a school.
Once a theft is reported to the Absolute Recovery Team, the team flags the reported computer as stolen at the monitoring center. The computer calls in every 15 minutes to report its location. Computrace software actually gives you the option to remotely delete sensitive data from the missing computer.
With this software, parents and school administrators will certainly reduce their concerns that students may lose their valuable computers or that the computers could be easily stolen.
