South Wales plans ahead

Supply Management,  Mar 29, 2007

South Wales branch spring programme is full of events to help members refresh their purchasing knowledge and experience.

It includes: a breakfast seminar on recruitment and continuing professional development on 3 April at the Miskin Manor, Pontyclun; a presentation on the impact of Sarbanes-Oxley on corporate governance on 26 April at the Glamorgan University Business Centre; and, on 10 May, in a "sustainability in action" event, the branch will tour the Senedd building in Cardiff Bay, followed by a seminar on the construction project.

South Wales branch committee member Paul Griffiths said plans for the autumn were already under way. They include November's event "The DHL experience - private versus public sector logistics".
