RAF's Buchanan flying high

Supply Management,  Nov 15, 2007

CIPS AWARDS

Flying Officer Andrea Buchanan has received a CIPS prize on the Royal Air Force's Supply Officer Training (SOT) course.

Colonel Russell Beattie, of the Commandant Defence Logistics and Supply School, presented a commissioned plaque to Buchanan during a graduation ceremony at Royal Air Force Halton in Buckinghamshire in October.

CIPS recognises the importance of supply chain management in the armed services and has had a long association with the SOT course. The institute provides an award for the SOT graduate judged to be the best student in terms of achievement in studies, contribution to the success of the course overall and potential for the future.
