Need sales help? Identify your personality type

Supply Management,  Feb 14, 2008

BRANCH EVENT

What personality type are you? Everyone attending "Let the buyer close the sale", the next North Lancashire branch event, will have a much clearer idea after a presentation by guest speaker Yasmin Shaw.

Shaw is a qualified specialist trainer and a practitioner in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a personality questionnaire designed to identify psychological differences based on the work of psychiatrist Carl Jung. Most purchasers regularly engage in negotiations with sales, technical sales or marketing representatives. Stewart Maloney, branch vice-chair, said the aim of the event is to improve buyers' qualification, progression and conversation opportunities to overcome tactics and obstacles presented by the salesperson.

"Let the buyer close the sale" will be held on 28 February, opening at 6pm for a 6.30pm start, closing around 8pm, at the Chamber of Commerce East Lancashire, Red Rose Court, Accrington. Book your free place with CIPS customer response centre on 0845 8801188 or e-mail crc@cips.org.
