CIPS seminar: How to buy PR

Supply Management,  Mar 27, 2008

From May a new addition to the CIPS marketing collection, "How to buy effective PR", will cover key areas such as how much to pay, what targets to set and the difference between "paid for" PR and news-generated PR

Client organisations invest in many different types of PR: trade, consumer, financial, crisis management and corporate. It can be a minefield, but, properly procured, there is no reason why PR cannot be as effective and as accountable as any other marketing medium. During the seminar delegates will learn more about fees, events, press offices, cuttings, disbursements, celebrities, press packs, e-releases, plus all the usual "tricks of the trade".

"How to buy effective PR" will take place in London at the City Inn, Westminster SWl on 27 May. For further information see www.cips.org/trainingevents/workshopsandseminars.
