WHO'S NEWS
ACCOUNTING
Joan M. D'Uva, CPA, has been named a principal at Edison's Amper, Politziner & Mattia. She formerly served as a senior manager in the firm's litigation and valuation services group. An accredited business appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers, D'Uva earned a B.A. from Montclair State University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
BANKING
Patrick J. Scanlon has joined Union Center National Bank in Union as vice president. Scanlon, who will function as a business development and government relations officer for the bank, was formerly employed by the state Department of Labor. He attended Seton Hall University.
Laura Buron has been appointed assistant treasurer/branch manager of the Rockaway and Wharton offices of Oak Ridge-based Lakeland Bancorp. Prior to this she served as branch manager of PNC Bank's Milton office. Buron attended William Paterson University.
HEALTH CARE
Pam Ryan has been promoted to assistant vice president for the critical care units at Willingboro-based Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County. Most recently, she served as the director of continuum of care. Ryan earned an M.S. in Healthcare administration from St. Joseph's University. Megan Stobo has been appointed director of perioperative services. Prior to this, she was with the Ochsner Clinic Foundation where she was responsible for training and development. Stobo earned a B.S. in nursing from George Mason University and an M.S. in nursing from Louisiana State University.
LAW
Emily A. Buonadonna has joined Cooper Levenson in Atlantic City as an associate in the firm's education law department. Most recently, she worked as a law clerk. Buonadonna earned a B.A. from Selon Hall University and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.
Michael Chagares, formerly chief of the Civil Division, U.S. Attorney's Office, District of New Jersey, has joined Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard in Hackensack as a partner. He earned a B.A. from Gettysburg College and a I.D. from Selon Hall University School of Law.
Michael A. Gorokhovich and John W. Roeser have joined Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel as associates in the litigation department. Gorokhovich, resident in the firm's Roseland office, concenlrates his practice in commercial litigation and product liability. He previously served as a law clerk. Gorokhovich is a graduate of Hunter College, CUNY, and earned a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Roeser is resident in the firm's Woodbridge office. He previously served as a law clerk. Roeser is a graduate of Duke University and earned a master of arts degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia Woodrow Wilson Department of Government and Foreign Affairs. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
MARKETING
Andrea Batcho has joined Richartz Fliss Clark & Pope in Denville as art director. She previously ran her own eBay business and did freelance design projects. Batcho graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.F.A. in visual communications/advertising design.
REAL ESTATE
Robert Hackett has been appointed area director/principal for all of Texas-based Trammell Crow's services in New Jersey. Hackett, who has been employed with Trammell Crow since 2001, previously worked as a principal in the firm's Denver office. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
William S. Mandara Jr. has been promoted to associate at Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers in Livingston. Mandara joined the firm as an intern architect/draftsman in 1995. He later became a senior project manager. He earned a B.S. in architecture from New York Institute of Technology in New York City.
