Accounting

Kevin McCollum has been hired as an accountant with the Princeton-based firm The Mercadlen Group. In his new position, McCollum will manage Mercadien Consulting. McCollum specializes in preparing operational analyses, financial forecasts and financial feasibility studies. He graduated from Temple University's School of Business.

Robert Richmond has been hired as a staff accountant by the Fairfield accounting firm of Leaf, Saltzman, Manganelli, Pfeil and Tendler. He has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and previously served as tax manager in the Boston office of Leventhal and Horwath. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and economics from Rutgers University.

Banking

Lisa Snedeker has been named branch sales manager for the Kearny office of Jersey City-based The Provident Bank. She previously served as branch sales manager at National Community Bank. Snedeker is also president of the secaucus Board of Health and the K&S Social and Athletic Club, a nonprofit organization.

Susan Essig has been named assistant vice president of Wayne-based Valley National Bank and the bank's Hacketstown branch manager. She will be responsible for creating new business, coordinating sales activities and maintaining compliance requirements. Essig earned a bachelor's degree in English from William Patterson University.

Robert Shell has been named branch manager of the bank's Wayne branch. Shell has seven years of experience in bank management and will be responsible for creating new business. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Ramapo College.

Francis Win has been named to the Gloucester County Advisory Board forVineland-based Sun National Bank. As a member of the board, Witt will work to promote the public recognition and advocacy of the bank. Witt is a partner in Joseph F. McKernan Architects in Cherry Hill. He served as mayor of the borough of National Park for 16 years and on the borough's council for eight years.

Biotechnology

Arthur Finnel has been hired as chief financial officer for New Brunswick-based WellGen. Finnel previously served in a number of executive positions for Bionova Holding. He earned a bachelor's degree, a master's degree in economics and master's degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania.

Law

Andrea Kamage has been named an associate in the Westfield law firm of Lerner, David, Uttenberg, Krumholz & Mentlik. Kamage focuses on patent counseling and procurement in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields. She earned a law degree from Georgetown University.

Jeremy D. Undemann has been hired as an associate in the workers' compensation department of Atlantic City-based Cooper Levenson. Lindemann previously worked as an associate with Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.

Public Relations

Darryl Jeffries has been named vice president of the public relations division for Clifton-based Bruno Associates. Jeffries previously worked as spokesperson and public information officer for the City of East Orange. He has over 25 years of public relations experience and worked for NBC News for 13 years.

Real Estate

Susan Mason has been hired as a senior vice president with the Parsippany real estate services firm of !ones Lang LaSaJIe. Mason has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and specializes in meeting the commercial leasing and management needs of owners and developers. She graduated from Berkeley College.

Kristin Bloom has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Fields Development Group, based in Hoboken. She previously served as director of sales and marketing for American Properties Realty. Bloom has also worked for Edgewood Properties and Roseland Property.

Services

Edward G. Troy has been named president of the GAB Robins Group of Companies, based in Parsippany. Troy has more than 35 years of experience in property casualty and risk management. He most recently served as president of ESIS, a risk-management service that is part of ACE USA in Philadelphia. Troy attended the College of Insurance of New York, as well as the Executive Education Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
