Central: Medical Move
NJBIZ, Dec 5, 2005
PRINCETON Princeton HealthCare System said last week that it will build a new $350 million, 269-bed hospital on the site of the FMC complex on Route 1 in Plainsboro. The health care company also said it will sell its three properties in Princeton. The current site of the University Medical Center will go to Philadelphia-based Lubert-Adler Management, a real estate development firm. Princeton University will buy two other tracts where the Merwick Care Center and Franklin Avenue parking lot are located.
Princeton HealthCare expects to break ground for its new building in 2007 and move there in 2010.
