Kenneth Croarldn has been promoted from senior manager to officer in the insurance services group at Amper, Politziner &Mattia in Edison. He is responsible for managing the external audit engagements for a number of property and casualty insurance companies. Croatian, who has more than 16 years of accounting experience, has an extensive background with property and casualty life and health insurance and insurance brokerage clients. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Dundee, Scodand.
Hayes MacArthur has been promoted from director to officer-in-charge/human resources at Amper, Politziner & Mattia in Edison. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for the company. MacArthur has more than 17 years of human resources and consulting experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in bom business management and organizational behavior from Rider University and a master's degree inhuman resources management from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and Labor Relations.
Banking
Patricia Arnold has joined Greater Community Bank (GCB) inTotowa as executive vice president, chief lending officer. Arnold brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial lending and banking to her new position. Before joining GCB, she served as chief lending officer at Interchange bank. Arnold is a graduate of William Paterson College and holds an M.B.A in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
J. Robert Heron has joined TD Banknorth Leasing Corp. in Mahwah as a vice president. He is responsible for sales and marketing of equipment financing products in the region that includes northern New Jersey and New York City. Heron, who has 30 years of financial sales experience, most recently served for six years as a senior vice president at Diamond Lease (USA) Inc., a division of the Bank of Tokyo He is a graduate of St. John's University.
Mara Johnson has joined The Provident Bank as senior branch manager of the Madison branch. She is responsible for business development, community relations, internal and external sales, staff development, operations and compliance. She had been branch manager for First Morris Bank and Trust and moved to Provident when it acquired First Morris in April. She is the longest-serving employee in the branch and played a major role during the transition process.
Anthony Manerchia has been promoted from vice president and business banking relationship manager at Sun National Bank in Vineland to regional manager of wholesale lending in the Delaware market. In his new position, Manerchia is responsible for managing a team of business banking relationship managers and will continue to develop and manage customer portfolios and serve customers' credit needs. Manerchia, who has more than 10 years of banking experience, joined Sun in 2005. Before joining the bank, he served at Wilmington Trust, where he held a number of positions including financial sales consultant/personal finance adviser and relationship manager. He earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Wilmington College in New Castle, Del.
Roger Tully has been promoted from executive vice president at Greater Community Bank inTotowa, to executive vice president, risk and operations, at Greater Community Bancorp. Tully's previous experience includes having served as executive vice president and chief risk officer for Bank Leumi; U.SA. senior vice president-divisional director at Summit Bancorp; and as a corporate director of two Summit subsidiaries. He holds an M.BA. from The Roth Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in finance from Fordham University.
Credit Unions
Craig Hamilton has joined Paragon Federal Credit Union in Montvale as vice president of lending. He brings an extensive background in finance, real estate and portfolio analysis to his new position. Before joining Paragon, Hamilton served as senior vice president of commercial lending at Chinatrust Bank USA. Other positions he held include vice president of commercial mortgage at The Trust Company/North Fork Bank; first vice president of real estate mortgage at Taipei Bank in New York; and vice president/head of national real estate valuation practice at Marshall & Stevens Inc. Hamilton earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from Newark College of Engineering, a master's degree in urban economics and policy analysis and a law degree from Rutgers University.
Education
Agnes Laville, a professor of biochemistry and chair of the academic promotions committee at Ross University in Edison, has been named associate dean of education. She will also continue to teach courses. In her new role, Laville will focus on the review of student academic progress and academic policy and will coordinate enrollment management initiatives. She will also oversee student examinations, grades and registration, prepare examinations and work with the student promotions committee. Before joining the Ross faculty Laville served as a research and development scientist and biochemist at the University of Barcelona. She attended St. Thomas Hospital Medical School, University of London, where she studied clinical chemistry and completed her graduate student research in chemical pathology.
