The Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach received a donation of five Compac DeskPro 486 computers from AirTouch Southern California earlier this month to assist homeless clients gain experience with computers and programs used in today's workplace.
Tuttle-Click Ford, Irvine, presented Sherri Fick, a Trabuco Canyon resident, with a 1998 Ford Escort she won at Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School's Family Fun Night that raised $10,000 for the school.
Irvine Temporary Housing recently held its 6th Annual dinner at the Irvine Marriott that included both silent and live auctions. The event raised over $17,000 and was sponsored by local companies that included PacifiCare, the Irvine Company, Toshiba, Toyota and Fluor Daniel.
