Kevin Still MICM has recently been appointed to the Board of Pentagon (UK) Ltd, the parent of EuroDebt Financial Services. Kevin will play a key role in leading a number of strategic development and compliance initiatives to ensure the continued growth and success of the business.

Kevin is also Senior Vice President of Credit Professionals Limited. He has been actively involved in the credit and debt management sector for more than 20 years, including roles at UAPT, lnfolink, Equifax, lntrum Justitia, l-many International and Coface. Kevin has been responsible for market development initiatives in 19 countries, including the US, and has lived and worked in mainland Europe.

Formerly director of CIFAS and Registry Trust Ltd, as well as the UK clearinghouse for County Court Judgments & Scottish Decrees, his experience and in-depth knowledge of consumer debt will be particularly valuable for Pentagon as it seeks to extend Eurodebt's market penetration.

Jim Conning has been appointed Managing Director of Eiger Systems, an Experian company and a leading developer of strategic payment solutions.

Jim will continue to grow the business, supported by a well-established and experienced senior management team. Since joining Eiger a year ago as Director of Sales, his leadership has enabled the company to increase sales and profitability substantially. Jim's previous experience includes over 16 years working in software sales with companies such as Multisoft, InfoBank and Microsoft, where he held a number of senior management positions overseeing business development across Europe, Asia, America and Africa.

Experienced turnaround executive, lain Lynam, is to be appointed Chairman of the Society of Turnaround Professionals (STP).

lain takes over the role from Pelham Alien, independent turnaround executive behind the financial rescue of the Royal Opera House in the late 1990s, lain will take on the STP Chairman's role for a two-year period.

lain will continue to raise and develop STP's profile. He takes the helm at STP at a time when the turnaround profession is leaning towards working more for the private equity stakeholder. He said: "I want to raise the profile of STP throughout the UK so that ailing companies know who to approach for help in a financial crisis. One of STP's main objectives is to encourage early intervention to businesses in distress. We want managers to contact a professional as early as possible when they find themselves in trouble."

Promoted to look after Close Credit Management's online debt recovery website is Michael Parker.

The online service is aimed at small to medium businesses. In his role Michael will looks after the day-to-day running of the site to ensure that clients benefit from easy access to their accounts and services. He is also involved with both on and offline promotion.

Michael has been with Close Credit Management for two years having previously worked in their in-house legal department, the legal branch of RAC Auto Windscreens and as a private investigator for fraudulent insurance claims.

Experian's new Chief Operating Officer for UK & Ireland is Tiku Patel. Tiku joins Experian from Barclays Bank, where he was Managing Director of Barclays Premier Banking, responsible for 290,000 clients and annual income £270m. He also led one of the bank's biggest business integration projects.

At Experian, Tiku will have direct responsibility for some of the company's fastest growing businesses. He will also be responsible for the integration of acquisitions, ensuring that resources and processes are in place to achieve maximum benefits and synergies.

The Legal & Trade Group has recently appointed Guy Barrington to the Boards of Legal & Trade Collections Ltd and Revenues Management Services Ltd as Group Commercial Director. Guy will be responsible for the development of the Group's public sector client base, group marketing and third party supplier relationships.

John Ricketts MICM, the Group's Managing Director, said: "Guy has been with Legal & Trade for four years. During that time he has contributed significantly to the growth of the business. His appointment to the Board and this newly defined role underpins our commitment to our public sector client base.

Prior to his time at Legal & Trade, Guy gained a broad range of business experience, including senior roles at HSBC, Lloyds TSB, BT and Ventura, part of Next.

Also joining the Boards of Legal & Trade Collections Ltd and Revenues Management Services Ltd is Peter Wallwork MICM. Peter joins as Group Sales Director, where he will take responsibility for growth in new business from new and existing clients, the sales, client services and audit teams.

Before Legal & Trade, Peter spent 20 years in the financial service environment, with key roles in lending, collections and sales, including Business Development Director at Drydens and Head of European Business Development with Risk Management Alternatives International Ltd. As well as being a Member of the ICM, Peter is the Vice Chairman of The Civil Court Users Association, Northern Division.
